Jay J. Pereira, CPA
Jay has been in public accounting since graduating in 1988. During his many years as a CPA, he has worked with public and private companies, as well as individuals from all walks of life. Jay has a specialized knowledge in assisting small to mid-sized businesses attain their goals. Being a successful small business owner himself, Jay shares much of his valuable experience and knowledge with his clients to help them navigate through the challenges of running a business. Working personally with business owners and advising them on how to take the next step is the secret to happy client relationships. Taking a personal interest with his clients Jay strives to be more than a CPA but an adviser that clients trust. Jay treats clients' finances as if they were his own, and is always thinking proactively in order to generate the best possible tax savings.
A certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, Jay has trained and assisted many clients in implementing and using QuickBooks to monitor their businesses. Jay and his business partner Stephanie, also his wife, have worked together to provide their clients with the highest level of tax and accounting services. Jay enjoys spending time with his family, routing for his favorite teams, networking with other professionals, and traveling.

Stephanie L. Pereira, CPA
Stephanie has been in public accounting since 1995, providing accounting and tax services to clients in a wide variety of industries. She strives to cultivate a hands-on approach to assisting small and mid-sized businesses meet their tax compliance requirements as well as understand their financial records. Stephanie also helps individuals by bringing a human aspect to the yearly tax deadlines. A former manager at "Big Four" accounting firm Deloitte, Stephanie worked extensively with public companies, assisting with SEC filings, business combinations, internal controls, and public offerings. In addition to her work with public clients, she performed audit and review services for non-public companies. During Stephanie's tenure at Deloitte, she provided services to South Florida companies such as Dycom Industries, Inc., Fidelity Bankshares, Inc., Travelpro International, Inc., American Media Operations, Inc., and Florida Power & Light. Before joining Deloitte, Stephanie worked for a local CPA firm where she helped small businesses with their financial statement and tax return needs.
Stephanie earned a Master's of Accounting from Florida Atlantic University and a Bachelor's in Journalism from Northwestern University. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Women for Excellence and on the Board of the Spanish River Community High School Foundation. In the past, she has been a member of the Boca Raton Children's Museum Board. Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family, reading, networking with other professionals, and traveling.

Chloe Pereira, a Havanese born in 2010 originally from Missouri, is a part-time member of our staff but full-time member of the Pereira CPAs family. As alluded to in Chloe’s breed name, her origins are from Havana, Cuba so naturally she is fluent in Spanish. While relatively small in stature, thirteen pounds, Chloe more than makes up for it with her large personality. A security expert, Chloe oversees office security matters. She is always sniffing out ways to make things better for others. While Chloe is not a CPA, she holds a “honorarium membrum” status with the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. We are very lucky to have her.
